“Do you want to go to Hawaii with me?”
Back in mid-2023, one of my roommates asked if I wanted to go to Hawaii in Fall break cause’ she would be graduating sooner than me. My impulsive thought, “oh I want to try the authentic acai bowl'“ helped me decide to go on a trip with her.
BUT… I didn’t know that Hawaii was in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (which I thought was on the East Coast for some reason) and a 6-hour flight (which I thought was 3-4 hours…). We KINDA freaked out cause we only have at most 4 days for fall break…
Anyways! We had many ups and downs to build our core memories! Hahahahha…..
day 1 - wakiki, honolulu // we took a morning flight (7am flight, woke at 5am, so mf tired ...) and arrive at Honolulu at 9am

day 1 - kahanamoku beach, honolulu // after speed-driving to pick up my friend, we successfully caught the sunset on the first day! so healing!!

day 2 - ala moana center, wakiki // before the usual shopping day, our car got towed away for illegal parking near our airbnb. (it was lowkey funny...)

day 3 - sunset beach, honolulu // catching the sunset was a hit or a miss. it was so gloomy before sunset and i was so sad, but they cheered me up so much <33

day 4 - royal hawaiian center, honolulu // before the cute little lunch, our car got towed away AGAIN (okay not funny anymore). but food made me better i guess...

day 4 - kailua beach, honolulu // before going to the airport, we decided to hit on one (or two) beach again. we went to kailua beach and lanikai beach and it was soooooooo pretty
