April 2020 | Hong Kong Island
This time, I decided to go on a trip to North Point, through Hong Kong’s double-decker trams, from Causeway Bay. Nowadays, entire hills have been flattened and developed with skyscraping apartment towers. Formerly winding around the waterfront, a tram track has been straightened. Due to years of land reclamation, even the waterfront itself has changed. There are now hotels and opulent office buildings where there were once manufacturers and shipyards.
In spite of the changes, though, a few things haven't changed, not the least of which is the tram. This is what I love about Hong Kong. I documented some of my favorite scenarios on the way to the end of the railway.
