A PR campaign for the Post Malone’s transition into the country music genre

As a Post Malone fan, it is necessary to record his genre change from Pop music to country music. We created a PR campaign for his new country music launch. The campaign includes promotional activities, such as Instagram Live, SNL performances, fan meetings, and more. As well as EPK (Electrical Press Kit) materials, such as advisory, factsheet, news release, and more.

Press Release

Feature Album with Taylor Swift

Post Malone was announced as a feature on Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated The Tortured Poets Society. Taylor is a prime example of an artist that has successfully transcended genres, further elevating Post Malone’s image as he is one of her trusted collaborators. He can touch on this in his 73 Questions interview and speak on what it takes for an artist to not adhere to any one genre for the entirety of their career.

SNL with Post Malone

Post Malone will be a second-time musical guest and first-time host on Saturday Night Live on May 5. Here he will perform his second single live for the first time. The second single will be released on May 2, at 9 p.m. (PST).

WHY THE GENRE SHIFT?

Post Malone has garnered enough of a loyal fan base that he has the potential to be followed across genres. After maintaining relevance in the music world for as long as he has, with his first hit being a SoundCloud upload — it is natural to have a desire to experiment musically. Post Malone does not feel the need to conform to genre rules and expectations.

Advisory

Stagecoach performance

After releasing his first single, Post Malone will provide 2024 Stagecoach Festival attendees with an exclusive performance of his first single, which will be released on April 25, 9 p.m. (PST). This live performance will be recorded and posted to YouTube. The event will be covered by Country Music People, local LA outlets, Holler Country and Hype Magazine.

Billboard Magazine Feature

Post Malone will discuss his country inspirations and the driving factors of his genre shift. Here, he will do a deep dive into his writing process and draw in an older audience. He will discuss his love for country music — which might have stemmed at an early age due to his Texan background.
